For years, I’ve dreamed of building a custom skincare brand. We live in a world where so many things can be personalized:

We can customize our furniture to fit our space.
We can tailor our clothes to fit our bodies.
We can even modify the sweetness of our coffee to fit our taste.

And yet, when it comes to skincare — something that interacts with our living, breathing skin every single day — most of us are offered one-size-fits-all products. But skin is deeply personal. In order to survive this long chain, these products often rely on strong preservation systems, stabilizers, and complex ingredient blends designed for shelf-life, not necessarily for potency.

But in reality, many active ingredients — like antioxidants, vitamins, peptides, and botanical extracts — start breaking down long before the product is opened. The serum may look perfectly fine, but its real effectiveness may have already diminished.
